I am planning a small group tour in late April early May with one of my favorite guides – Sean. This tour will start with Sean picking you up at the Durban airport.
This tour is all inclusive – food, drinks, alcohol, scuba dive(s), various local guides who loves their country and of course accommodations. You just need to bring pocket money for souvenirs. Here is a description of the various destinations on this tour.
Three day tour to Sodwana Bay to explore this marine eco system – includes one dive, but more can be arranged. Snorkeling, and education in and tours into the wetlands eco system.
Drakensberg mountains, mountain tour and Lesotho
Return to Durban on the day of departure back home.
The South Africa tour – including everything – Costs $2995 pp (Please note, I am just now starting to plan this tour, and if prices go up significantly for next year I cannot guarantee the price, please stay tuned as I will have exact prices in the next 14 days). I will get airfare and insurance costs arranged before August 31!
FYI, I can arrange tours that encompass preferred parts of this schedule. If you want more or less scuba diving – no problem. If you want to focus on different areas, but still want some of what this tour offers – please let me know. I have access to various guides in that area so I can arrange it for you. If you want to change things on this tour then the listed price will be different.
Please contact me with any questions, concerns or interests you have for your South Africa tour. I work with the very best of guides and most requests can be accommodated.
Who can go on this tour (is there an age limit)? Any adult who is healthy and in reasonable shape can go on this tour. The most strenuous parts of the tour is the very easy, shallow scuba dive and the walk-in Safari. If you are a certified scuba diver, and want some of the deeper dives as well, please let me know. If you have travelers 12 or younger, or teenagers who might not be really athletic and coordinated, please contact me to arrange an amended tour. It might be that Kruger National Park is a better idea for you, and depending on age, maturity and coordination it might not be a great idea to scuba dive. If you have a mature, responsible and decently athletic teen that is not a problem. I leave it up to you to decide what your teen can handle.
